  盗版问题的高考英语作文 1

Nowadays, the problem of piracy has become more and more serious. Books, tapes,VCDs and others high-tech products have been pirated. For instance, when a new product comes onto market, most probably, its pirated counterpart will soon put on its appearance in the market, too. Piracy has caused a great loss to legitimate producers, inventors and writers in many ways. To start with, the pirated products often cost much less than the genuine ones so that they enjoy a better trading position in spite of their relatively poor quality.

The genuine products,on the contrary, sell poorly. Whats worse, pirated books sometimes do great harm to the authorsreputation due to some misprints. In the long run, pirated products may have a negative impact on customers. Those legitimate producerscreativity and enthusiasm may be deeply hurt by the fact that some customers are more interested in the pirated products for the sake of small gains. In my opinion, its high time that everyone started the battle against piracy.First, customers should develop their consciousness to resist the pirated products. Second, the government should take effective measures to put an end to piracy. Finally, laws must be strictly enforced to completely ban piracy. Only in this way can we wipe the pirated products out of our life.

Directions:For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Say No to Pirated Products.

Nowadays piracy is becoming more and more of a problem in China.Almost any product, such as tape,CD and hi-tech device, can be copied.Shortly after a newly-developed product is put on the market, people will unsurprisingly find its pirated counterparts in the stores.

It should be paid attention to that piracy causing great harm.On the one hand, pirated products often sell well due to their unbeatable advantage in price in spite of their relatively poor quality, and the original ones,on the contrary, sell poorly. On the other hand, pirated products may also have negative impacts on customers since those legitimate producers’enthusiasm may be greatly hurt as a result of money loss. Therefore,it is high time that we took measures to solve the problem as soon as possible.

First of all, stricter laws and regulations should be issued to punish piracy behaviors. Moreover,as customers,we should develop our consciousness to resist pirated products.Only in this way can this problem be solved radically.

There is no denying the fact that piracy is a grave problem with which we are confronted. Taking a look around, we can find examples too numerous to list. In many places we see people peddling pirated books or disks.

A number of factors could account for the problem, but the following might be the most critical ones. First, pirated products are much cheaper than copyrighted ones, so they are very attractive to people, especially youngsters, who are not financially well-off. Secondly, with highly developed technology, it is not difficult to manufacture pirated products. With one authorized copy, the illegal producers can make thousands of fake ones at a very low cost, thus making huge profits.

As a result, intellectual property rights are severely infringed upon. Honest producers will lose the motivation to develop new products. Meanwhile, pirated products are often of low quality, thus damaging the interest of buyers.

In view of the seriousness of the problem, it is essential that laws and regulations be formulated and enforced to ban the manufacture and circulation of pirated products. Meanwhile, people should be educated to say no to these products. With these measures taken, we have reasons to believe that the problem can be solved in the near future.

In China, the problem of pirated products has been the big problem, the products such as CD and tap can be copied any time. Pirated products are challenging some industries, because pirated products not only much cheaper in price but also damage the copyright. As the pirated products are cheap, so the products’ quality is not good, people spend money to get the bad one.

What’s more, as more people buy the pirated products, it will have negative effect on the original products which have the copyright.

The manufacturers will loss the profit and don’t have the enthusiasm to produce the good products.

People should have the consciousness to support the genius products, at the same time, more stricter laws and regulations should be carried out to punished the one who sells the pirated products. I believe this problem will be solved gradually.

China has often been criticized for the rampant practice of software piracy. Take a look around. We operate on pirated Windows systems, defend PC security with pirated Kaspersky anti-virus programmes, process files with pirated Microsoft Office, draft 3D designs with pirated AutoCAD, refine pictures with pirated Adobe Photoshop, and study English with pirated Kingsoft‘s electronic dictionaries and translators. It‘s no exaggeration that pirated software is everywhere.

The logic behind the phenomenon is simple and clear: if a pirated copy is available for just a tiny fraction of the normal price, not to speak of many of the free downloads online, who would pay for an authentic copy? Cheaper prices aside, easy access is another important factor. With such a large gathering of pirated upgrades around, who would bother to spend time and money searching the stores for an authorized yet outdated version?

Despite these apparent benefits, the practice of software piracy should be banned, because it represents unfair competition and by nature it‘s a no-win situation. But how? Two approaches are to be taken at the same time: Technically, software developers should enhance their antipiracy engineering, so that cracking the software should be virtually impossible. And legally, the government should also tighten its antipiracy laws and toughen up the penalties, so that violations should be costly.
